You aren't like the other miners. The strong men with hardened hands and bodies built for hollowing out a mountain. You're not even a man yet. You're so small, and the mountain is so big. In this game you make your way through a collapsed mine. You aren't alone though. As you make your way through the mines, you'll come across the creatures who lived there long before any human set foot in the mountain. But as they say; being brave isn't about never being afraid, it's about overcoming fear.

Amsvartne is a 2.5D puzzle-adventure with a spooky vibe. The main mechanic of the game is to use light to solve puzzles, and there is also going to be a big focus on the story. In this game inspired by Nordic mythology, you are a survivor of a great mine collapse and you have to find your way out.

This build is a prototype. We are trying out different mechanics and designs as well as to get feedback on the current prototype. We are planning to make a Demo during this year based on our current work and the feedback we get
